Reinforced Concrete Piles: Choosing Price and Quality

lethycorp

star icon Reinforced Concrete Piles There are many types of reinforced concrete piles floating on the market with a full range of prices. There are low prices, there are medium prices, there are also high prices. For those in the construction profession, we probably all know the quality of these types of piles. But for non-professionals, those who do not work in the construction field, that is probably the biggest concern when deciding to choose a partner to start building a house.

I think that the foundation of the house is very important, it carries the whole future of your family. Today I would like to give estimates on piles as well as pile quality, for those who have not yet built a house, those who Need to learn more about piles before making a choice:

Reinforced concrete piles that we often use for residential buildings, townhouses, family villas.... usually use piles with a cross section of 250mmx250mm or Prestressed Round piles D300.

Regarding square piles 250mmx250mm:

  • About the main structure Includes 4 main steel bars Ø16. Steel stirrup Ø6, stirrup spacing order a50 – a100 – a200, – a100 – a50. Box plate: 5mm to 8mm thick.

We can observe the image below:

Le thy pile details

Here, the distance a50 means that the two steel belts are 50mm apart, a100 is 100mm, etc.

The tip of the pile and the tail of the pile need more strapping than is intended to bear the force when pressing.

Steel Directional tip: Usually use Ø16 –Ø22 steel for this type of pile.

 Crane hook steel : for piles <=8 meters, use Ø10 steel, L = 1.2 meters, for piles > 8 meters, use Ø 16 steel, L = 1.6 meters.

Steel mesh: The pile head mesh steel consists of 3 layers, each layer consists of 8 Ø6 steel bars stacked on top of each other to form a solid square.

Code steel : Connect two pile sections together using a pile connection box with dimensions of 200x100x5ly. To ensure a strong connection, it is recommended to use 4-sided panels of the pile junction box 5 to 8 mm thick. Dimensions are: 150mm x 150mm x 5 cups

Concrete : It is recommended to use fresh concrete of grade 300 to ensure pile pressure from 70 to 120 tons. In fact, when people cast compression samples, the samples reach 250 or 300 marks because the samples are carefully maintained in the laboratory. The actual product at the construction site with the current casting quality only reaches about 80%. Current unit price of 1 block of 300 grade fresh concrete: 1,320,000/m3.

So we have enough materials to complete a reinforced concrete pile with cross section 250mmx250mm, BT 300 grade, 5 mm single plate. Now we calculate the cost of this stake.

For example, the pressing depth is 13 meters, including two sections of 7 stitches + 6 ends. Steel price at the present time and using Viet Nhat or Pomina steel. Let's look at the following spreadsheet:

Le Thy pile value table

Thus, the amount of money the pile casting company has to spend to get one meter of pile according to the design I mentioned above is: 282,106 VND

(Two hundred and eighty-two thousand, one hundred and six copper).

At this point, we can ask a question? Why is the deposit price cheaper? There is certainly some undercutting on steel (steel belt sparse, too many pieces of steel, not the right type of steel), not enough grade of concrete, hand-poured concrete Sand, stone, poor quality cement... and there are many other ways to reduce product costs.

We have spent money to buy products and services, we should consider carefully before making a decision!

Best regards!
